We are a passionate network of students and professionals who have personally experienced the challenges of breaking into the conservation field. From limited access to training, mentorship, and funding, to a lack of collaborative platforms — we have faced the barriers ourselves. That is why we are committed to creating a more inclusive and supportive pathway for emerging African conservation ecologists.
Our mission is to equip young African conservationists with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities they need to thrive. Through hands-on mentorship, field-based training, and classroom learning, we help build the technical capacity needed to lead innovative, data-driven conservation efforts.
Africa is home to an extraordinary array of wildlife, contributing significantly to global biodiversity. Many of these species, sadly, are now on the brink of extinction. While traditional cultural values have long supported wildlife conservation in many
African communities, today’s rapidly changing world demands innovative, data-driven approaches to address increasingly complex conservation challenges.
