A PhD student at the University of Arizona and a wildlife biologist with over five years of community-based conservation experience, Raymond founded Face of Africa Conservation Ecology (FACE) to bridge the mentorship gap for aspiring African scientists. He is dedicated to uniting rigorous research with inclusive leadership to empower the next generation of conservationists.

A communications specialist with a degree from Maseno University, Elizabeth bridges the gap between complex research and public action. She is passionate about making ecology accessible through strategic messaging and digital media. A Chevening Scholar with a Master’s in Conservation Biology from the University of Kent, Janet is a wildlife and community conservation specialist. Her career is dedicated to bridging the gap between people and nature, with a specific focus on empowering women in conservation technology. Brian Otiego | Project coordinator

A MSc student at Karatina University, Brian is dedicated to protecting Africa’s threatened raptors through landscape and spatial ecology. As a two-time Rufford Small Grant recipient, he leads research that bridges the gap between technical data and community action.
